The arrangement

Maitland Concrete Works is a referral service. Each enquiry goes to one independent concreter working the Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens council areas, who visits the block, measures, quotes in writing and does the work. The operator of this site is not a concreter, does not carry out or supervise building work, and is not a party to any agreement between you and the concreter who quotes your job.

Who you are dealing with

The quote, the contract, the invoice, any warranty and every licensing and insurance obligation belong to the concreter who does the work. Check their NSW licence and their insurance before you accept a quote. Nothing published here is an offer to do work or a quote for it.

Rates and guides

The per square metre rates, the worked examples and the calculator exist so you can plan a budget. Rates on this site are guide figures for planning a budget. Your price is the written quote after the concreter has seen the block, and it can sit outside the guide where ground, access or a small area call for it. What the site says about council approvals, standards, flooding and mine subsidence was read from the sources named on each page on the date shown there. Councils change fees and drawings, so confirm with the council before relying on a figure.

How the site is paid for

A concreter may pay the operator for running this site and passing on the enquiries it generates. Sending an enquiry costs you nothing.

Limits

As far as the law permits, the operator accepts no liability for the work, conduct or omissions of any concreter, or for loss that comes from relying on general information on this site. Rights you hold under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded are not affected.
